From the Commander, Jim Johnson With the cold weather and snow it looks like winter finally got here. For you hunters and Ice fishermen and women out there the Legion has had and still has some great Pulltab Prizes geared for the sportsman. Mark your calendars for our annual St. Patty's Day corn beef dinner on March 17th. Watch for more details. Be sure to thank our men and women in uniform when you see them for their service to our country, Be safe and God bless.

Carene Johnson Club Coordinator: We have Kelly Peterson returning to the Club room Friday, February 10 at 8 pm. We are also participating in the Pub Crawl Saturday, February 11. It is always entertaining to watch even if you are not on a team. Our Cheap Date party is Friday, February 24 with music provided by U&I Karaoke. Beer Bucket specials are available for Thursday night bingo along with various daily specials.

Thomas Linder, Commander SAL -  Enjoy Valentines Days by bringing that special someone to the S.A.L.’s Omelet Breakfast on February 12th from 8am to 12:30pm at the American Legion hall on Elm Street.

Glenn Pierce, Gaming Manager - The American Legion is hosting a raffle for the June Poff benefit on February 18th. The raffle drawing will be at 4:30pm in the Legion Hall. Show your support and fight breast cancer while getting a chance at valuable prizes. We have a 3 color Mar Cum Lx5 depth finder and a Rapala Cordless fillet knife up for grabs in the Club Room by playing Minnesota Super Seals. We are currently hosting Bingo 3 nights a week, Thursday at 7pm in the Hall, Friday at 7pm at Wild River Bar and Grill in Almelund and Saturday at 6pm in the Clubroom. Stop in for your share of the winnings.

Membership Chair, Randy Koivisto - Just a friendly reminder, we still have 40 members that have not paid their dues for 2012.
