Michelle Still, Auxiliary President - Welcome to fall and getting back into a routine. Last week I had the privilege and fun of helping at the American Legion National Convention. It was wonderful to meet many people who are dedicated to helping our veterans, military, children and community. The Auxiliary's Annual Impact Report shows over 7 million Volunteer Hours were
served and the Mission Outreach totaled nearly $27 MILLION dollars. Such awesome people from all over the country, including our small unit! Our first meeting after the summer break is Sept. 11th at 7:30 PM, and your presence is requested.

Glenn Pierce, Adjutant - Our Chisago County Veteran Service Officer, Bryan Brown, will be at the North Branch American Legion the 3rd Monday of every month. You can meet other veterans, get benefits assistance, share your experiences with other veterans. This month Bryan will be at the American Legion Hall on September 17th from 9 am to 10 am.

Glenn Pierce, Gaming Manager - Football Season is about to begin. The State of Minnesota now allows Sport Boards to be played as part of our charitable gambling program. Stop by to watch the Minnesota Vikings play and get your chance to win. Food is served for all games and everyone gets a free chance to win some prizes with every score the Vikings make. The North Branch Sons of the American Legion will be hosting a TAILGATE PARTY for the Minnesota Vikings vs the Green Bay Packers on September 16th. See the game on the BIG screen in the Hall. There will be food, drinks, Sports Boards and a raffle for Vikings tickets, jersey’s and other Viking memorabilia.

Glenn Pierce, North Branch Veterans Memorial Committee - Below is the updated view of our memorial. The center ring will have “All Gave Some, Some Gave All” etched out so the sunlight will cast the saying on the deck below. The tan walkway area around the center will have the memorial pavers we are selling to help fund the structure. The pavers are for sale now for $175.
There will be 5 benches/monuments to honor the 5 branches of service. We currently have the order forms at the North Branch American Legion Post 85.
